The National Audiovisual Archive (NAVA) collects the legal deposit copies of the Hungarian programme service. The mission of the institute is to store, process and ensure access to the programmes with Hungarian content as well as the programmes produced in Hungary and transmitted via the analogue terrestrial channels of the Hungarian television and radio. The access is guaranteed in several NAVA service points throughout the country.

NAVA provides also access to the digital copy of one hundred Hungarian feature films and several hundreds Hungarian newsreels produced during the period of 1931-1943 about international events of that time.
